Dr. Hussein S. El-Ghoroury
A serial entrepreneur and pioneer in the mobile and telecom industries since the early 1980s, Dr. El-Ghoroury serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Ostendo Technologies, Inc. Prior to founding the company, he was CTO of IBM Microelectronics, President and Chief Executive Officer of CommQuest Technologies, Inc. (now owned by IBM)—a company that pioneered the first quad-band cellular chipset in North America—and Senior Vice President of Linkabit Corporation (predecessor of Qualcomm). Dr. El-Ghoroury received his PhD and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University.
